In Coinsmat, we aim to prevent any form of money laundering activities. To this end, we implement strict know-your-customer and anti-money laundering policy (KYC/AML Policy). In compliance with this Policy, we have taken certain steps to ensure that we have authentic and verified records of our users in addition to implement an effective vigilance over the activities of Users transferring money.
At the time of creating your User Account, you must provide us with your first and second name, email address, phone number, state and country of your residence. In addition, we may request you to provide us with soft copies of documents verifying your identity. Such documents may include, without limitation, copies of your passport, driving license, current bank statement, utility bills, or any other document.
We may suspend, close or limit your access to your User Account or your available cryptocurrency balance in the following cases:
- Your failure to provide us with the information or copies of documents within the time;
- Your true identity is not established or verified by the documents you have provided;
- You have provided us with fake and forged documents;
- You are found to be an infringement of our KYC/AML Policy or in violation of any applicable laws; and
- You have transferred your User Account to any third party without our approval.
If you don’t have verified status, you cannot withdraw or transfer your cryptocurrency. We reserve the right to make amendments in this Policy with seven (7) days’ notice to that effect.
We use our best efforts to prevent any person from misusing our services for illegal activities such as money laundering. To this end, we strictly monitor and analyze user activities, transactions pattern, and login history. We promptly report any suspicious activities, transaction or user behavior to the legitimate authorities for further actions. Subject to the advice of such legitimate authorities, we may suspend, terminate or limit your access to your account or available funds.
